Ropiscan Systems Metor Metal Detectors developed the first industrial metal detectors in the 1960’s which were used extensively for mining and other industrial applications. The series of aircraft hijackings led to develop a passenger security screening detector by converting successful indus- trial technology to personnel screening. Ropiscan VEDS MC

MC Series is a neutron inspection system that automatically detects the presence of explosives and drugs in cargo. It uses proprietary Rapiscan Systems technology to detect commercial, military and most homemade explosives.
